This CDTA undertook a review of sector reforms, policy/act review, and investment and financing strategy of DGPC, alongside institutional capacity building, and revised the environmental and social assessment documentation for the Tangsibji Hydropower Project.

Outcomes

We delivered the following solutions to ensure compliance:

Served as JV partner with PwC, providing a team of four local consultants — Electrical Engineer, Socio-Economic Consultant, Environmental Consultant, and Communications and Media Consultant.
Established the Biodiversity Committee and prepared ToRs and MoUs for biodiversity surveys with the National Biodiversity Centre.
Developed protocols and formats for the environment management plan.
Assisted with implementation and monitoring of the Resettlement Plan and community development programmes.
